When the first American to climb Mt Everest was asked what had given him the most fulfillment as a

mountain climber, he said:

‘Taking people to the top of Mt Everest who could never get there without my assistance, is my greatest accomplishment.’

The purpose of leadership is to take people to the top.

Great achievers and great leaders stoop to reach down and pull others up. They never let pettiness or

jealousy keep them from reaching out to others.

Many persons see the world as a giant competition. In their minds, if someone wins, then someone

else must lose.

In fact, inspiring and helping another to achieve success gives lasting significance and meaning to our lives.
